Flooding Emergency Update 5

There are no changes in road conditions to report at this time. However, water levels are still on the rise. Since the yesterday, the increase in water level was reported at approximately 2.5 cm. The Municipality reminds residents to remain cautious and to keep children and pets away from fast moving waterways. Additionally, boaters are instructed to stay away from affected areas to reduce the impact of the wakes on roads and properties.
Emergency Services and Operations Crews continue to patrol and assess conditions. To protect infrastructure and to avoid potential safety hazards, the public is instructed to stay away from the affected areas unless they are volunteering.
