Stage 2 Access for Municipal Facilities in Review

As per the Provinces announcement on Monday, June 8, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is one of 24 public health regions permitted to move to Stage 2 as of June, 12, 12:01 a.m.
Businesses and services permitted to reopen with restrictions and proper health and safety measures in place in Stage 2 include:
The Health Unit is reminding businesses to open only if they have proper infection prevention and control measures in place. Business owners and operators are encouraged to call the Health Unit at 1-800-563-2808 option 5, if they have questions about the requirements to reopen. Businesses are also encouraged to review the province’s guidance documents for additional guidelines for their sector.
The Municipality is reviewing opportunities to implement Stage 2 access to more municipal facilities. While various services and facilities may be permitted to open on Friday, June 12th, the Municipality will need to conduct a thorough assessment of services and work with the local health unit to ensure that proper safety measures are in place to protect staff and residents.
