Parade of Lights 2016 In page banner ENG

Rock 'N' Ribs, in partnership with the Municipality of West Nipissing and Twiggs Sturgeon Falls, is pleased to present the 1st Annual Rock 'N' Ribs Community Christmas Party!!!

One of the main objectives of Rock 'N' Ribs is to help bring the community together and what better time, aside from ribfest weekend, than Christmas! After having visited several other communities during the Holiday Season and observing that every one of them hosted an annual celebration or parade culminating in the lighting of a community Christmas tree, we felt it was time West Nipissing had a community tree of our own?

And so, directly following our annual Christmas parade, we invite all of you, young and old, to come join us for what will hopefully become a new annual tradition - the lighting of our very own tree
- which will remain lit every evening throughout December for everyone to enjoy and to remind us of how fortunate we are to have each other. Carolers will entertain us with a few Christmas favourites!

Of course, that's not all! In true Rock 'N' Ribs fashion, we will be hosting a bonfire (with the help of our local volunteer firefighters), serving free hot chocolate and cider and hosting a free concert in Twiggs featuring Justin Beauchamp and Carl Dixon!

Weather permitting, we will also be live streaming the entire event on a 12ft screen on the outdoor stage as well as via our YouTube and Facebook channels for those of you unable to join us!

So this year, on December 2nd, come join us down at Minnehaha Bay for a good old fashioned get together and fill up on some community and Christmas spirit!
