The Municipality of West Nipissing offers to great locations to snowshoe and cross country ski. The West Nipissing Nordic Ski and the Sturgeon River House Museum offer great snowshoeing trails.
The West Nipissing Nordic Cross-Country Ski Club is part of the Sturgeon Falls Rod & Gun Club

West Nipissing Nordic Cross-Country Ski Club
404 Lac Clair Road, some 4 km north off Highway 17
The club has a heated chalet and new groomed and track-set trails for your skiing enjoyment. The chalet is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays only.

Trails are open 5 days a week (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00am to 3:30pm

Students (12 to 18 years old) - $5
Child (11 years and under) - $3

3 sleighs for children up to 1 1/2 years old
2 sleighs for children aged 2 or 3 years old
2 snowshoe sleighs
The Sturgeon River House Museum also offers snowshoe rentlas and tours.
